FBC Youth

BUILDING BELIEVERS WHO
REACH OTHERS FOR CHRIST.

ABout

The Youth Ministry of FBC, is dedicated to preparing today's youth to be tomorrows productive Christian adults. This is accomplished through quality Bible studies, fun events, and opportunities of personal growth for each teen. In addition, each youth has the opportunity to interact with several different caring adults on an individual basis so they will have a friend to turn to during this difficult time of growing up.

Youth Community Groups/Bible Study meet on Sunday mornings at 9am in The Harbor. Then on Sunday nights from September-November and January-April we have Pier 7, which is a Sermon Based Bible Study divided by gender.  On Wednesday nights, youth meet for an energetic worship service called L.I.F.E (Life Is For Everyone).

We meet for LIFE every Wednesday night from 7-8:15pm upstairs in The Harbor.  We have a time of worship and message. This is for completed 6th-12 grade. Feel free to wear a mask and socially distance as you feel led to or as your parents request you to do. On the last Wednesday of each month we have our Family Night Service beginning at 7pm. We begin serving pizza at 6:30pm for a suggested donation of $2 a person. Friends are welcome to attend. Register for pizza at bit.ly/fbcpizza.

LIFE Points have started. At that time points are given for attendance, inviting your friends, bringing non-perishable food items, participating in the games, winning the games, and learning Bible verses. The top 15 youth with the highest points with 80% attendance will receive a LIFE Reward which could mean a monetary discount for DNow, Youth Camp, or the World Changers Mission Trip.  Amounts may vary and is dependent on the budget.

Life Is For Everyone, is a fun and upbeat service where youth can invite their friends to hear the life-saving message of Jesus Christ. Taking advantage of teams, games and youthful enthusiasm, the adults of this ministry present the Gospel and apply it to each teenager's real life.

Pier 7 meets from 4-6pm at the church. We have a time of recreation from 4-:45pm and then meet for the sermon based Bible Study from 4:45-6pm. Youth meet in small groups by gender and grades.

This is special Sermon Based Youth Bible Study on Sunday evenings from September to mid November and then again from January to mid April. Youth learn the practical side of their faith as they are led at the church by caring Christian adults. It is important to be in the main worship service as the Bible Studies are sermon based from the morning preaching. Interested youth should try to commit to the entire semester (Fall/Spring). See John for more information.

The Youth Community Groups are all Coed small groups for those in Middle and High School, generally broken down by grades studying God's Word. All 6th-12th Grade meet in The Harbor at 9am for a brief time of worship through music and announcements. Then we break up by the following grades below for individual classes. You are welcome to wear a mask.

6th, 7th, & 8th Grades
9th & 10th Grades
