Pastor Peter Ajemo of Suba, Kenya has purchased the motorcycle based on the gracious giving of our church. He has started other churches since this summer, and so the motorcycle will help him go from church to church, as well as unreachable areas - in addition to earning money. Though he speaks very fluent English, and can preach in English, his writing is another story.
I admit I had to fight back tears when I read his email, especially about the new church that meets under a tree.
I can't help but think this is one reason why God is blessing our church - we're seeking to be more intentional about His mission - locally and globally. Praise God for His people who support His mission! We are wise to invest in ministry blessed by God. I can't wait to see the precious people from Africa who will be in heaven through the ministry we helped support.
