AWANA Ministry
For two hours each Sunday afternoon, the adults and youth who staff this ministry work with children 3 years through 6th grade. AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. This ministry which runs through out the school year is First Baptist's largest outreach to unchurched children in the community. They play games, do projects, earn badges, and memorize scripture in such a fun way that the children cannot wait to come back the following week.

Children's Choir Ministry
This wonderful ministry allows children to experience performing in musical productions about biblical themes. Twice each year children perform these presentations for the entire church. Sixth graders are welcome to participate.
Fall Festival
This is an annual alternative to Halloween. Children from all over our community descend upon our church each year to play games and fill their bags full of candy.
Girls In Action
Known as GA's, this special ministry reaches out to school age girls. They play games, do crafts, hear stories, go to summer camp, and learn about missions around the world. Sixth grade girls are welcome to participate.
Royal Ambassadors
Known as RA's, this ministry reaches out to school age boys providing quality time with caring men who teach them what missions are all about. Activities include mission projects in the community and summer camps. Sixth grade boys are welcome to participate.
Children's Worship
This ministry provides a special worship service each Sunday for children Kindergarten through 5th grade. This dynamic worship time proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ on a child's level of understanding.
VBS (Vacation Bible School)
Once a week each summer, around 100 adults and youth come together to transform the church buildings into an adventure in scripture. Children from the surrounding community participate in music, crafts and FUN Bible study each summer. This is the largest evangelistic program we do for children.
